I took Flat Claire on a trip to Hemsedal (http://www.skistar.com/en/Hemsedal/). Hemsedal is a ski resort 4 hour north/west from Oslo. It was a sunny day and we had a great time!
The red house you can see in the picture is a traditional house for storing food in the old days.
Flat Stanley came with me to Odda (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Odda) to do some research for a television show and climb a mountain. In the first picture Flat Claire is by the old church in Odda.
In the second picture you can see the pipes and the mountain we climbed.
In the third picture you can see the view from the mountain down to Odda. Either Flat Claire was to scared to get out of the backpack or we were too scared to take her out - What do you think?
On the way back from Odda we drove through a national park called Hardangervidda and a place called Finse (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finse) and this is where they filmed parts of Star Wars V. As you can see there is still a lot of snow there even though it has started to melt.
On the way back to Oslo Flat Claire also made a stop in Geilo where Round Claire's Grandmother or Gomo, as she calls her, has a cabin.
Geilo is a nice place to go skiing and Gomo used to go on trips there all the time before she moved to the US.
Even Claire's dad Kristian has been to the cabin several times but only in the summer.
